Poker Stars has great player support! The site does not have a real-time online support system, but support emails are answered quickly, and large tournaments are closely monitored by support staff.

Poker Stars has an excellent selection of poker games. They have limit, pot-limit, and no-limit Texas Holdem, Omaha, Omaha Hi/Lo, Stud, and Stud Hi/Lo. They have a massive amount of Sit & Go's including heads up, 1 table, as well as 2 table tournaments. They have the largest selection of multi-table tournaments on the net, with many of them having massive prize pools. Limit games range from $0.02/0.04 to $30/60 and NL games from $0.01/0.02 to $10/20.

Poker Stars has excellent game play . The software loads up quickly when you first open it, and once your logged on you never have to wait for anything! Tables always load very quickly, and tournament statistics are real-time. The biggest nuisance with the software is that disconnected player will hold up the whole table for what seems like an eternity. Disconnections are fairly rare however, so this annoyance doesn't happen often!

Poker Stars has some of the toughest competition on the net. There are very few "fish" on the site - and although there are still lots of weak players, majority of the people on playing here have a fairly good understanding of how to play! This site sends hundreds of people to the WSOP every year, and has produced the 2003 and 2004 WSOP champions! Most tournaments here with a buy-in of $10 or larger are filled with sharks, and even the cash games are tough to make money in. The only good news - an aggressive player can steal blinds like mad on this site, and you'll rarely have to worry about idiots out-drawing you because they called your all-in with crap and got lucky.

Poker Stars has an extensive amount of play money tables - I'm talking hundreds of them!!! The best play money feature of this site is definetly the regularily scheduled play money tournaments that occur several times a day, giving play money players multi-table tournament experience.
INTERFACE USABILITY: 10
Poker Stars has a superb interface - and makes it very easy to play as many as 4 or more tables at the same time. This site has a great interface for quick betting and raising, and consequently is the top pick among heads up players.

Poker Stars is very easy to get started with. Click HERE to download the software onto your computer, press "Install", and then follow the easy step-by-step instructions provided and you're good to go. Total time needed: 4 to 8 minutes!

Poker Stars has decent promotions for their players! They do not give out first time deposit bonus, but rather focus on giving promotions to their "regular" players. The more you play, the more FPPs (Frequent Player Points) you'll receive - which can be redeemed for great rewards. In my first 3 months at Poker Stars I got a free leather jacket, a tshirt, a beautiful poker chipset, as well as a baseball hat from these points :)
